"The spirit of Tom Sharpe lives on! Highly imaginative farce from a restless, roving and rumbustious mind. I enjoyed it. If you liked Tom Sharpe's portfolio of work, you will too."

"'Carry On' meets 'Fifty Shades of Gray'. Very funny and irreverent with a no holds barred approach which is refreshingly Non-PC. Well worth a read!"

Reviews for Clarissa and Barry (a cat's chorus and a dog's marriage)

"1. Are you of a politically correct disposition?
2. Were you an advocate of Mrs Whitehouse and her policies?
3. Are you female?
4. Does cruelty to animals offend every sense of your being?
5. Is flagrant use of 'olde English' offensive to you?
6. Does the idea of castration to human or animal, with or without anesthetic, cause you concern? If you answered ' YES ' to any of the above, best give this one a miss. On the other hand, if you do not read it, you will never know what you missed. I understand that some famous poets and writers of the 19th century found inspiration from drinking absinthe - I'd like to know what Wilson Nicholl was using to create the scenarios of this rollicking good read which I demolished in 3 hours flat. Its a farce with attitude just as some of the characters display. Considering this is the authors debut novel/book, its a resounding ten out of ten. As much as I would love to see it made in to a film, I doubt it would get past the censors!"

"Laugh out loud farce. Loved it. An outlandish version of the 'Carry on' films. I will guarantee you will recognise someone you know in at least one of the characters."

"A riotous, bawdy and engaging romp which is unashamedly non PC and all the better for it! Bazza is my new hero - can't wait for the sequel."

"Bawdy, rude, even downright filthy but very readable. The product of a unique imagination and a fertile mind. Unlikely to appeal to everyone but I loved it and a throwback to compare with the best of Tom Sharpe's novels"

"I just couldn't put this book down. A laugh from cover to cover, what a great 1st novel. Keep it away from your mother-in-law though"
